The Clear Ice Maker

Clear ice makers take up a lot of freezer space. The Klaris is a smallish countertop appliance that makes four 2” cubes in 6-12 hours depending on your ambient temperature. It’s easy to use and best of all, it works! Yes, it isn’t cheap but if you like craft cocktails at home, this device takes it to a whole new level.

I did the full package which included the ice bag and mallet and all the storage trays. If you are going down this path, you gotta do it right. It is a long process but the first set of cubes came out perfectly crystal clear like being at a craft cocktail bar. I have made the blocks and the cubes. I just read an article about tempering as my first cubes had crack lines and I now understand the methodology. The ice bag and mallet worked great. I used them to make an Aperol Spritz and the ice stayed cold out in the Texas heat. Very impressive.

That this Klaris Clear Ice Maker makes a work of art so easily. This big 2 inch clear cubes are so impressive and make for great photos and conversation starters. We also enjoy "capturing" a slice of fresh fruit as it will stay upright during the freezer process. Our last one was a slice of Kiwi. Pretty as a picture, and stayed that way! I will say that it has not left our counter since its arrival. We have a bar, but we freeze these just to watch the time tick down. It's big a Big Hit!

Purchased not exactly knowing what to expect. Took the plunge and WOW!!! This machine churns out crystal clear ice….I mean crystal clear ice! See pics below. I would say if you are even close to being on the fence, do it. It’s worth the dough and you will not be disappointed. Exceeds expectations without question.

After just three batches, I’m thoroughly impressed with the Klaris Clear Ice Maker. The machine is incredibly easy to use, delivering perfectly crystal-clear ice every time. The quality of the ice rivals what you’d expect from a high-end bar, and it truly elevates the experience of any drink.

While the price is on the higher side, it’s well worth it compared to the effort and inconsistency of trying to make clear ice manually. My only wish is that Klaris offered a larger version to accommodate bigger batches, but for now, this machine has exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a simple, effective way to upgrade your ice game, this is it. Highly recommended!

I have been using my Klaris regularly for the last couple of months and I haven't found a single issue that would make me regret it. The ice comes out so clear and the cubes are large enough to where it doesn't water down my cocktails quickly. As much as everyone wants to have ice ball, I prefer the cube for a more elegant look and feel in the glass. I can't wait to try our the longer ice trays for high balls.

Definitely a splurge with the price tag, but looking at all the other ways I’ve tried to make clear ice, this is hands down the best. So incredibly easy! I used tap water and had crystal clear ice with literally a press of a button. Cleanup was virtually nonexistent. The second round I actually did in the dark and went back to bed. The size and design is perfect for countertop or storing. I also got the freezer containers. I may just use clear ice now for everything haha. Thank you Klaris!

I’ve tried different molds and couldn’t find one without imperfections and such a hassle to use ie- difficult to get the cubes out. Not to mention, trying to figure out the perfect freeze time. Came across this and I am very pleased with the results. I got a bit of OCD and strive for perfection. Finally found it! Worth the $$$ if you want perfection!
