Warranty Policy

General Limitations:

Klaris warranties apply to the US only. Products used outside the US must be returned to the US at the owner’s expense. Shipping expenses, duties and any other charges that occur with sending a repaired or replaced product back to the owner, outside of the US, are the liability of the owner.

Important:

Items sent back to Klaris without first requesting a warranty and receiving an authorization from Klaris will not be accepted. To start a warranty inquiry, please contact us at info@craftklaris.com and provide your order number and reason for warranty claim. If under warranty (see terms below) Klaris will replace your defective machine with the same model with the same or less usage. Defective accessories under warranty will be replaced with brand new accessories.

Transport:

Within 3 business days of the warranty authorization, Klaris will ship the replacement machine and include a return shipping label in the box. An order confirmation email and tracking information will be sent to the email on file. Once the replacement unit is received, please ship the defective unit in its original packaging (or the packaging from the replacement) within 5 business days using the shipping label provided.

Limited 1-Year Warranty - Ice Maker

Klaris Inc. warrants the ice maker (see below for tray, insert and accessory warranty information) against any defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for a one (1) year period after the original purchase date. The ice maker warranty is only valid for:

  • The original customer.
  • A product that has been purchased through authorized retailers.
  • A product with the original receipt for proof of purchase to make your warranty claim.
  • Products purchased and used within the United States and Canada.
  • The warranty does not include damage to the product resulting from:
  1. Accident, misuse or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel
  2. Operation with the wrong type of current or voltage
  3. Operation with trays or inserts other than official Klaris trays and inserts purchased through an authorized retailer
  4. Operation with liquids/solids other than water
  5. Failure to follow the cleaning instructions or storage instructions
  6. Failure to comply with the safeguards listed in the safeguards and operating instruction sections of this document

Limited 3 Month Warranty - Tray, Inserts and Accessories

Klaris Inc. warrants the tray, inserts and accessories against any defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for a 3 month period after the original purchase date. The tray, insert and other accessories warranty is only valid for:

  • The original customer.
  • A product that has been purchased through authorized retailers.
  • A product with the original receipt for proof of purchase to make your warranty claim.
  • Products purchased and used within the United States and Canada.
  • The warranty does not include damage to the product resulting from:
    • Accident, misuse or repairs performed by unauthorized personnel
    • Operation with the wrong type of current or voltage
    • Operation with ice makers other than official Klaris ice makers purchased through an authorized retailer
    • Operation with liquids/solids other than water
    • Failure to follow the cleaning instructions or storage instructions
    • Failure to comply with the safeguards listed in the safeguards and operating instruction sections of this document

Important information regarding refurbished/serviced machines:

Before leaving Klaris facilities, all refurbished and serviced clear ice makers go through an internal audit and a full ice making cycle with water. Each unit is then cleaned thoroughly, but there may still be some residues of water in/on the machine. This is normal and helps to ensure that the product you are receiving functions properly and is free from any defects.
