This page explains your right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information and the use of your personal information for “targeted advertising,” and how to exercise that right with Klaris, Inc. (“Klaris,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It supplements our Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms have the meaning given to them under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the “CCPA/CPRA”), and comparable laws in other states, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and others as they apply.

1. What This Means

Klaris uses cookies, pixels, and similar advertising and analytics technologies that may disclose personal information to advertising and analytics partners. Under some state laws, these disclosures are treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising,” even when no money changes hands. The categories of personal information involved may include identifiers (such as device and online identifiers and IP address), internet or other electronic network activity, geolocation data, and inferences. Our advertising and analytics partners currently include Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Reddit, and LiveIntent.

2. Your Right to Opt Out

You have the right to direct Klaris not to sell or share your personal information and not to use it for targeted advertising. We will not require you to create an account in order to opt out, we will not discriminate against you for exercising this right, and we will use the information you provide with your request only to process and honor it.

3. How to Opt Out

●      Cookie preferences: Use the cookie-preferences tool on our website to decline advertising and analytics technologies at any time, and to change your choices later.

●      Global Privacy Control (GPC): We recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and other approved opt-out preference signals for the browser or device from which they are sent. If you enable GPC, your opt-out is applied automatically for that browser or device.

●      On-site link or email: Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link available on our website, or email us at info@craftklaris.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share,” and we will process your request.

4. Authorized Agents

You may authorize another person to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof that you authorized them to act for you.

5. Consumers Under 16

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age without opt-in consent, as required by law. Consumers between 13 and 16 (or a parent or guardian for a child under 13) may provide or decline that consent.

6. What We Do Not Sell or Share

We do not sell or share your sensitive personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We also do not treat the personal information in your product reviews or in your communications with customer support as information that we sell or share for advertising.

7. After You Submit Your Request

We will process your opt-out request as required by applicable law, and we will wait at least 12 months before asking you to opt back in. Because opt-out preference signals and cookie choices are specific to the particular browser or device you use, you may need to renew your choice on other browsers or devices, or if you clear your cookies or use a private browsing mode.

8. Your Other Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain profiling, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to appeal a denial of a request.
