Why a sphere?
A sphere offers the best surface-to-volume ratio (Learn more about melt rate) and is ideal for smaller tumbler glassware, enhancing and chilling, while not diluting, single-pour spirits.
What size sphere does it make
The Klaris Ice Press uses a 2" Klaris cube to forge a 1.9" (48mm) crystal clear sphere.
How do I make consecutive spheres?
When making successive spheres, rinse the press under warm water for 15-30 seconds in between presses.
Is any power needed?
No power is required—the aluminum press's thermal conductivity and weight effortlessly forge a sphere in just 2-3 minutes.
What do you recommend for cleaning?
Before the first use, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the press with warm water and soap.
How do I store the spheres?
After pressing the spheres, they can be enjoyed immediately or placed in Klaris 2" storage containers. For best storage results, it’s recommended to dry the spheres off with a towel before storing in the freezer.
